Be Happier, Starting Today!

Win the market with our Do It N.O.W. campaign. This turn-key, marketing campaign will help you find and secure listings for the changing 2024 real estate market. Avoid the chaos and serve the listing every time. Outperform the competition and build long-term business.

Are you happy? According to Eleanor Roosevelt, “Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product.” It’s a by-product of our thoughts, choices, attitude and the habits we practice every day.

Our habits have a huge impact on our lives and businesses. When we adopt the habit of consistently completing our daily lead-generation activities, we become more successful. When we adopt more health-conscious habits, such as eating whole foods and exercising, we improve our health, increase our energy and feel better. Similarly, when we adopt habits that improve happiness, we begin to feel happier.

Start your day with a few minutes of meditation. Clearing your mind helps you set the tone for the rest of the day. Since it’s hard for many of us to sit still for long, start with just a few minutes of meditation and eventually build up to a longer period of time.

Exercise. If you want to be happier, get moving! When you exercise, your body releases endorphins and other feel-good chemicals that boost your mood. Schedule twenty minutes every day to walk, run or do another favorite exercise to jumpstart your happiness.

good-morningBe grateful. Did you know that writing down three things you’re grateful for every day can increase your happiness? Gratitude helps you to appreciate what you have, what you’ve accomplished and the people who are in your life.

Write a personal note. Improve your happiness by making someone’s day. Send a note to a client, a loved one or someone else who’s made an impact on your life.

Describe a positive experience. It’s easy to get so caught up in the challenges of the day that we lose sight of all of the good things that also happened. We focus only on the transaction that fell through instead of the good stuff—the positive message from a client, or the free coffee we got from our favorite coffee shop. Before you go to bed, describe a positive experience you’ve had in the last 24 hours. It’ll renew your perspective.

Try one or more of these suggestions to become happier today!

It’s a good life!
