‘Potential’ is defined as “a latent or underdeveloped power that has not yet come to pass.” Many of us suffer from unfulfilled potential because we subconsciously prevent ourselves from tapping into it. That’s right; we’re often the biggest saboteurs of our own success!
How do we sabotage our success? Through fear—whether we’re afraid of failing or succeeding, we let fear dominate our thinking. We waste our energy focusing on worry, doubt and other limiting beliefs. We stick with unproductive routines and habits that inhibit our progress and prevent us from reaching our goals, if we’ve set goals at all. Or we work in isolation, away from the motivation and camaraderie of other high-achieving individuals.
