7 Takeaways from Brian Buffini’s Success Tour: Toronto

Win the market with our Do It N.O.W. campaign. This turn-key, marketing campaign will help you find and secure listings for the changing 2024 real estate market. Avoid the chaos and serve the listing every time. Outperform the competition and build long-term business.

Brian Buffini’s Success Tour 2016 is in the books for another year. While your motivation is high, you may be wondering where to start incorporating all that you’ve learned over the past two days. Here are seven takeaways to help you get started:

  1. Focus on your high-quality leads. These leads come from your most valuable clients: the A+ and A clients. The holiday season is a great time to get face-to-face with them. Deliver a Pop-By, or organize a reverse Pop-By, to get some face time with your best clients and remind them you’re “never too busy for any of their referrals.”
  1. Outline the reasons you’re worth referring. Peter Sheahan offered in-depth analysis of the five components that make brands valuable to customers and offered examples of companies who’ve succeeded in doing so. Given everything you learned during his presentation, think about what makes you worth referring? What are the problems you can solve for your clients? How can you liberate your customers from risk and make the process easier for them? What separates you from your competition in your market and makes you more than the average real estate agent or broker? Now is the time to think about your answers to these questions, so you can take what you’ve learned and apply it in the next year. For more info, check out his book Matter: Move Beyond the Competition, Create More Value, and Become the Obvious Choice.

  1. Set goals. Create short-term goals to achieve by the end of the year as well as your mid-term and long-term goals for 2017. Be sure to use Brian’s three keys to success—value, benefit and belief—to craft your goals for the year and create a plan to achieve them.
  1. Unmarket to your clients. Scott Stratten gave you the tips you need to connect with your clients beyond traditional marketing. Give it a try in 2017 by creating a plan of the tips you’d like to incorporate.

  1. Boost your productivity and get organized. J’aime Nowak and Brian Buffini gave you the tips you need to improve your productivity and streamline your business. Take advantage of the year-end wrap-up to devise a strategy to incorporate these tips into your business.

  1. Make a plan to get your finances in order. Get on the path to financial freedom, if you’re not already. Make 2017 the year you get out of debt, save more and reach financial freedom. Use the strategies Brian outlined to get started.
  1. Get a Coach! If you want to take your success to the next level, it’s important to get a Coach. When you sign up for One2One Coach, you’ll get an accountability partner, a motivator and an expert who can help you lead your business more effectively and efficiently.
